A Death Valley Sunset In The Badwater Basin
Photograph - Photograph
My first time to Death Valley gave me many visual memories, some of which I was lucky enough to capture. Badwater Basin is the lowest elevation in North America at 282 feet below sea level. (It is only 84.6 miles ESE of Mount Whitney, the highest point in the contiguous United States at 14,505 feet.) In February there can be water in the basin, and we all know what water does for sunsets... stunning reflections!
