A Drop In The Ocean
"We ourselves feel that what we are doing is just a drop in the ocean. But the ocean would be less because of that missing drop." - Mother Teresa
It saddens me beyond belief to consider how polluted our oceans have become. There are dead zones along our coast lines. (read about them here http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2013/06/130621-dead-zone-biggest-gulf-of-mexico-science-environment/)
And garbage patches in the ocean, the largest of which is the size of Texas.
(read about them here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Pacific_garbage_patch)
The great news is that each individual has the ability to make a difference. Choosing to avoid plastic where possible, to recycle when you do use plastic, to be intentional about each purchase decision. Collectively we can make a difference. We need to make a difference if we are to make that positive drop in the ocean.
Artist's Finishing Recommendations:
FAA's fashionable and luminescent Metal Print would be my pick to play up the contrast of light and dark in this image. There are numerous attractive custom framing/matting options available to suit any decor. I encourage you to experiment by clicking on the finishing icons located above this text to choose your favorite finishing.
