Silvereye (Tauhou, Little Stranger) is one of New Zealand most familiar native bird. Looking out the window, sometime I catch sight of a visit of flock of tiny (smaller than sparrow) birds to the most colorful spot of the garden. They feed on nectar, insects, berries and fruits. The visits were short. Within seconds, they flew away. Geranium, chrysanthemum, freesia, Gerbera and silvereyes make up the image. It's a delightful garden event. I think this image is ideal for baby room where infant mind needs quiet stimulation with color patterns through eye contact and maybe learn some maths one to ten (ten sivereyes)!
