Been to Denali Natl Park and was lucky enough to view from a distance but this is remarkable for being so close and also for it's clarity! V&F

Wonderful..v/f

This is just amazing, Chad!!

Fantastic image, makes me yearn for my old Cessna 140. Come think of it, the service ceiling on that plane wasn't high enough to see this, which makes this photo even more precious.

Chad Dutson replied:

Gary, Thank you!

A beautiful image, Chad!

Beautiful! Featured in Photography - Getting The Light Just Right.

Heidi, Thank you!

One can almost feel the crisp clean air that is portrayed here! Wonderful perspective!

PS, the Sim is so real, it even has real time weather, clouds, winds, storms, etc, controlled by the weather reports in the area.

Once decided to Fly to the summit of Denali... Took off in a WACO, and flew round and round the mountain, finally realizing when almost out of fuel, that it was too high and the WACO ceiling was not that high... Fortunately survived by landing on the Glacier my fuel was so low. Then have gas flown in to take off... ;) Fortunately, was in the Microsoft Flight Simulator, though it is very realistic in every way, the reason that I could not reach the top... Have flown to every field in AK... Love the FS, mostly like to fly the General Aviation aircraft. You can also take photos of the landscapes you fly over, will have to do that sometime. Have compared photos from the FS, with real ones of the same peaks in Big Bear Lake, and if you didnt know which was which, few would pick the correct one. Have flown over 287,000 real hours with the flight sim since version 1. But for a bad heart valve, Id have a license... Published this image in ARTIST NEWS an Internet Publication.....

Chad Dutson replied:

This entire area is nothing short of magical! And to see it by area is a special treat! FS is an amazing tool, too, to see this area. Love FS!!

Wow. Ill never get an opportunity to see this for real, so thanks for showing. Magnificent capture.

Chad Dutson replied:

Thanks Keith!
