David, as a rank amateur myself, though preferring abstract paintings at this stage of my painting, I'd like to say that I like this VERY much! I like the choice of colors and the very varied forms, shapes, and their interection through your arrangement and also thus creat another dimension from the lower middle outward. Keep at it, and I find I grow most (if indeed I do at all!) from studying and trying to write about other paintings I see by other people -- mostly on FINE ART AMERICA, no advertising intended! I think there are a lot of really good artists here working in varied styles and subject matter, and that there is a lot for me to learn from many of them. Keep at it diligently (and digitally if you wish! -- no matter what media you use, you still choose and arrange colors and shapes). And your photos, too. What I said about digital, I think, goes for that, too. Peace, etc., Bruce
