Imagine my extreme surprise when I focused in on a heart-shaped rock and discovered a serpent! This is a friendly corn snake aka rat snake; they are often kept as pets. This scene reminded me of Adam and Eve (the heart) and then the serpent! "Unseen and Not noticed" for a minute there!

A surprise to see this image on Seen But Not Noticed, but after reading Kathy's description, I fully understood. Snakes conceal themselves really well and all of us have probably been close enough to touch but didn't know we had company. Nice capture of the heart shaped rock with its seldom seen companion (a King snake that appears ready to shed its skin).
