Your paintings tell stories and your words run deep and paint pictures in the mind. Few people can use colors and form as well as words to convey their ideas and beliefs to others in a way that is meaningful and lucid. You seem to be a master at both. Thanks for the pleasure of allowing us to view your art. May God in Christ continue to use you for His glory.

Thank you for your comments David. I love this piece. Everything about it is rich and tells a story. From the colors, to the texture, to the style. I love how you incorporate smaller images to create a bigger picture/painting. Everything tells a story. Great Job!!!

Description:

Lake Victory is the weeping eye of Africa, because Queen Victoria's reign brought the most colonial and cultural disruption to the African continent. Her henchman, Cecil Rhodes pillaged throughout Africa, taking whatever he pleased and the colonial powers of a certain cardinal point on the compass quartered and divided her for their pecuniary gains. She weeps because she was and still is being framed and imprisoned in chains of poverty and divided by Willy Lynch Syndrome. With tears filling Lakes Tanganyka and Nyassa, she turns her back to the same cardinal point on the compass that caused her the most sereve uterin pains, The West. For this is where her children were dragged kicking and screaming, bound in chains, and in some cases denying their filial bonds to Mother Africa. David G. Wilson
