Indeed this great. evocative photo has a stark apocalyptic feeling about it. Except for the surfer, it could be a document of ages long gone in the mist of time - or of an apocalyptic age yet to come.

Thanks Hartmut! I cropped out the surfer, then I thought, end-o-the- world or not, if there is 1 surfer left you know they'll be out there* lol
