Albert The Hare
Anna Folkartanna Maciejewska-Dyba
Painting - Acrylics On Canvas
This painting is about a little young hare rescued by me and my sister from the hands of bad boys from the village, then we raised him in our parents' home. All of it happened in 1967. First days were the most difficult because Albert (we gave him this name) was so small that he did not know how to eat. Then I invented a way of feeding him with cow's milk and everything went perfectly well from that point. When he got bigger he loved to eat flowers from our mother's garden. In the fall, when he was already big he ran away and disappeared forever in the fields... He was the nicest and sweetest little creature one can imagine, he even slept in our beds.
