While on a trip to Sebastopol to shoot some dogs (with the camera of course). I left home early to try and find something else to shoot on the way. Just after dawn I passed a turn-off for Sugarloaf Ridge State Park. I decided to check it out. The road took me up in elevation and I entered the fog at about the same time I entered the park. I saw several deer scattered throughout the park. This pair was far enough off the road that I hiked to a vantage point where I could take some shots. In this image they are on alert after sensing my presence.
