Description
In this painting I have written the name of Allah and Muhammad. 'Allah' is the name for the true existent, the one who unites the attributes of divinity, is subject of the attributes of lordship, and unique in true existence. This name is the greatest of the 99 names of God, because it refers to the essence which unites all the attributes of divinity. It is also the most specific of the names, since NO-ONE uses it for anyone other than Him, neither literally nor metaphorically. Muhammad (highly praised), The word Muhammad is derived from the Arabic root word hamd meaning praise. It is the emphatic passive participle of that root and can be translated as the Oft-Praised One. Allahs Messenger (peace be upon him) enumerated a number of his names when he said: I have many names: I am Muhammad. I am Ahmad. I am al-Mh (the Obliterator) by whom Allah obliterates disbelief. I took little inspiration for writing from the movement and harmony of Arabic Scripts like khat e diwani, Khat e diwani jeli and Riqa diwani. If we see overall painting then writing style is contemporary. Writing is composed with Islamic motives which are used in Islamic architecture. I tried to use arabesque color palette in motifs but in few options color palette is inspired from contemporary colors. In mostly paintings square and round motives are used as a "nukta". Some time text is readable sometime not.
