In July of 1982 Lawn Lake broke through the land holding its water and it flooded the area with over 25 million gallons of water.. The flood carried car sized boulders and continued to flood all the way into Estes Park, submerging the town under 6 feet of water. This is the alluvial fan falls that were created by that flood. A nice image for wall decor for your home, cabin, cottage, vacation condo or business. More information about the photographer at kaypickens.com.
