Anne, Thank you for your kind comments on my photographs. The Amish of Lancaster County Pennsylvania are such a fascinating study and a joy to shoot. They are very concious about people invading their privacy so I always try to shoot without being too intrusive. The children in the buggy photography were very delighted to have their picture taken and waved for the camera. Unfortunately that picture was slightly out of focus so not useful for display here.

This could not be more charming. One is struck by the modern and old incorporated on the buggy--the rearview mirror, the reflectors and the slow moving vehicle sign are reminders these folk must live in the world of today in order to carry out their lives. The children's faces are wonderful!
