Description
An old growth fur in the grove of the Patriarchs in Mount Rainer National Park. These trees are more than a thousand years old, protected in a valley with a river running through it. The climate stays cool and damp all year so these trees have been able to flourish through the years even centuries. It is a short hike through the grove about a mile and most of it is planked to the disabled can stroll through and enjoy as well. There are tons of wildflowers and mushrooms that grow under the shaded canopies and even a hot day is cool under the protective branches of these old trees

Wonderful capture and well worth of being FEATURED on the home page of Wisconsin Flowers and Scenery group, as it is a class act, and very nicely composed and presented. Thanks much for sharing this beauty with us. F/V Forever, Elvis
