Dance of Life's Rhythm Series 2006
Ana Bikic , 11''x 8'' Card stock Block Print Original
Once I have drawn my design I create a block cut. I use a polycolor system and apply the block only once to the cardstock. The acrylic ink solutions print with a natural graining look
due to the process.
This technique needs drawing ,carving ,painting and printing. I like to use metalics because the Black cardstock creates a vividness for highlighting.
Each original print is numbered by the Block series and project's title numbers. They are generally created in groups or themes and so look good presented as pairs .
Dancers,Birds, Cars , Plants, Animals, Flowers, Angels .
