Description:
According to Greek mythology Aphrodite, the goddess of love and beauty, was born a grown adult. This image is a modern interpretation of that legend. The "glamour style" photo emphasizes the face of Aphrodite somewhat akin to Botticelli's Venus where as the sister image "Birth of Venus" emphasizes the figure of Aphrodite similar to the ancient sculpture "Venus di Milo".
This image is printed on Hahnemuhle Photo Rag fine art paper using Canon Lucia Inks and is window mounted using 4 ply museum rag board.
