Aquarius constellation. Optical image of the zodiacal constellation Aquarius, the water bearer. North is at top. Aquarius is a large and sprawling constellation which contains few bright stars. Its most recognisable grouping is the group of four stars forming a trefoil (similar to the Mercedes symbol) at upper left. The bright star at lower left is Fomalhaut (Alpha Piscis Austrini) in the constellation Piscis Austrinis, the southern fish. The constellation Capricornus, the water goat, is at lower right. Its brightest star, Al Giedi (Alpha Capricorni), is at far right, with Dabih (Beta Capricorni) just below and left of it.
