Beautiful & poignantly sad - but what a great shot with the cracked wall! F/V

Very kindly appreciated Hazel!

I love wondering what's behind old windows. This is a great one. v/f

Vicki Pelham replied:

Me too Lou, these lovely buildings on "Officer's Row" that are falling rapidly into decay where abandoned rather recently actually. I think the added interest to this one is the evidence of the project that the last residence had begun. Thank you!

A fine image Vicki! Love how the tree branch, cracked stucco, and vine intermingle and bring you back to the window.

Like your photo subject and the way you capture it so beautiful ! V)

I love this, Vicki! Please add this to the Windows and Doors Group! Outstanding comp! Fave!

Vicki- Love the textures and shapes in this one! A nice diagonal flow too...starts at the top right and exits at the bottom left. You have taken something fairly simple by essence and given it lots of character and life. F/V
