Description:

This bunch of asparagus was just waiting to be painted! The wide purple bands really came to life when I placed the orange in the picture. The simple pleasures of life, captured in a simple, Impressionist handling of the paint....painterly realism. The wood panel used by the Old Masters made the perfect support for this contemporary duo.
