At Least Try And Smile While The Lady Takes Your Photo.....
Photograph - Photograph
A (maybe!) irreverant shot of statues on the Holy Door (Puerta Santa) of Santiago de Compostela's cathedral in NW Spain. The site has been a major pilgrimage destination since the 9th century; legend says the body of St James the Great (one of the apostles) was finally buried here. The Holy Door only opens when July 25th (the day of St James) falls on a Sunday.
