I know that he has made a lot of personal connections and has even painted some of his online friends. To these people, I must apologize for not being able to write each one of you a personal e-mail - I wouldn't know where to begin. I want to thank all of you for your kind comments on my father's paintings; it really meant a lot to him knowing that his work was appreciated by others he held in high regard.
My father passed away yesterday afternoon after a fifteen year battle with cancer. I know this website was important to him because it allowed him to make connections with other artists and it allowed him to express his creative abilities. My father raised and took care of a family, had an extremely successful career, and was able to explore his musical and artistic desires in the later stages of his life. I am proud to call him my father and proud that he fought so long and so hard for his family and his friends. I couldn't ask for anything more. He is the strongest person I knew and he continues to be my hero in passing.

Sorry to hear. I just found his gallery and favorited many works, which hasn't happened until now. I loved the glow in many of his paintings it brought a very ethereal quality.
