Mary Ellen, I too started with a love for watercolors. I never would have expected to be doing what I am, now. Thank you for your tremendous comments on my piece. Your watercolors are lovely and evocative of warm summers.

Thank you for your compliment on my poppies Mary Ellen. I love your travel paintings and your geranium paintings. I too enjoy painting this "fragrant" red flower! This piece spoke to me though. Beautiful pots of red on a sunny window. Nice work on the whole painting!

Thanks for your comments on my photographs. This is one of your best paintings, and is excellent. Europe is full of beautiful windows with flowers and flower boxes. I could make a career from taking pictures of the ones in Venice - I wonder what the heck they feed those things. And you are right, living in Venice is not such a bad deal - it's about time I got dealt some decent cards.

This one reminds me of my parents, they were both born in August, and our distant Dutch influence still cause us to love gardenig...beautiful painting! ...Thanks for your kind words, but I am a sinful man in awe of a great-great God. All good I have is from Jesus Christ, my Lord, to him be the praise then!
