This photograph of the Pennybacker Bridge or commonly known as the "Austin 360 Bridge" is true landmark of Austin, TX. It is a steel bridge with a rusty look that is often seen in color, but I like it in the old black & white look. On this early morning, it was very cloudy after a few days of rainstorms that is not often seen in Austin, TX in the summer. The bridge is 1,150 feet long with a 600-foot central arched span, and held in suspension by 72 steel cables over a lake popular for boating and recreational swimming.
