Description:

This was quite a sight to behold. There was a prescribed burn going on in the forest at Union Creek, Oregon. I was out on a photoshoot, looking for autumn color. On the way home, we had to drive through this area and just had to stop. This is just one of the images that I was able to get. As you can see, the smoke was filling up the forest and hiding the trees. There is plenty of Autumn color in the foreground and sprinkled through out the forest, but the smoke adds another reality of mystery and danger.
