I love raccoons! We used to own a hand-raised pet raccoon and I imagine she looked this adorable when she was little (we got her when she was full grown...) Great job!

Hi Marlene, i could have chosen any of your drawings and the comment would have been the same, just wonderful work, i struggle with realism so i mainly express my idea's in an abstrct way, i just really do admire your technique, great work.

You really captured the personality. I too raised a raccon as a child and they are wonderful creatures. You do both man and animal a greta justice when you reproduce them.

Hi Marlene, I just wanted you to know that I do read my comments, ALL of them, and I appriciate the kind words. I really didn't know if my type of fine srt would be accepted because of it not being able to be reproduced and sold like all the other "Fine Art" and others on this site. My favorite animal is Raccoon. I raised one when I was just a kid living in Massachusetts. Contact me any time. Best Regards - Steve str8

Are you getting tired yet of me telling you how good I think you are? Oh dear.. maybe I should shut up.. might upset someone.. Anyway.. I wanted to tell you about http://www.starving-artists.net and an artist whose name is Diane Wright. Her skill with pencil in doing scenes is unbelievable!! She also has a book out on her technique. You might find this invaluable on your journey.
