Description:
The Legend of Baggar Vance demonstrates the process of personal renewal & transformation and the felting process demonstrates the transformation of knitted yarns into something beautiful yet transforming it into something totally new & even more beautiful. Indeed a showstopper, this briefcase (designed for a corporate executive in Minneapolis who chose the yarn color scheme), satchel is knitted & felted with gorgeous Peruvian wool yarn called MAGNUM which felted into a very dense blanket texture and the deep burgundy color is highlighted with a burnt sienna colored ICORD bindoff. Large enough for long file folders and for carrying a laptop computer & computer cords and two separately knitted, felted pockets are handstitched to the front under the large flap for added space. Top stitching around the thick strap, handle, flap, pockets and top interior edge with a beautiful brown suede and blanket stitch embroidery. The base is knitted & felted with the contrasting burnt sienna Peruvian wool for added highlights. Interior foam in black is handstitched to each interior side to prevent static to one's laptop with deep brown grosgrain ribbon interior top edging. A fabric covered, reinforced base makes this the perfect briefcase for the corporate person on the go.
