Description:

Bamboo Chimes Waimoku Falls trail Hana Maui Hawaii While we were hiking the Waimoku Falls trail in Hana, Maui, Hawaii, there is long passageway where both sides of the narrow path are lined by bamboo trees. These bamboo trees were some 30+ feet tall. It was a very windy day and the trees were knocking against one another makeing it sound like we were in a very large bamboo wind chime. This image is printed on fine art papers or canvas like all my work. The canvas images are coated with a UV protectant and then stretched on 3/4" stretcher bars. Finally, I paint the canvas prints with clear acrylic to add visible brush strokes that enhance the feeling of the print.
