Thank you Lingfai!

Congratulations on your sale!

interesting painting, im considering getting a large canvas print for my great room, this piece looks very art deco to me especially the background foliage. ive noticed you have different painting styles ,some being more realistic and some more impressionistic, how do you choose which style to use?

Douglas Simonson replied:

David, I don't like painting in the same style over and over, so I tend to skip around. And each time I go back to a style I've used before, I'm trying to do something new with it. Then when I have, I want a new challenge somewhere else, so I go looking for it.

thanks ric!

I really like yr style

thanks ed!

fantastic piece douglas! v/f
