Description
We saw this bear on the shore of Lake McDonald in Glacier National Park, Montana a few years back. He was in a berry patch and we tried to hide behind some bushes but they were too small to conceal us. The bear was in hyperphagia, the time of year when bears eat almost anything they can get their paws on in preparation for their long winter sleep.
