Beautiful Morning On Boston Waterfront
Photograph - Photo
There's a saying that the best camera is the one you have with you. Granted I would have had a camera with me no matter, but this is an example of a moment I wasn't really out to take photos. I had gotten an early start on a day I planned to spend checking out the Boston Harbor Islands. At sunrise, I was sitting in a little waiting room for the first water taxi I could take.
As I wiped the sleep from my eyes, the reflection of golden light in the windows caught my attention and I turned around to see this beautiful view over the marina by Long Wharf. Considering how overcast it was that morning, I wasn't expect such beautiful light at sunrise, but there it was, so of course I had to head outside to capture this beautiful moment, golden light highlighting the masts of the quiet sailboats in Boston Harbor. And the soft still water reflecting it all. It was genuinely a beautiful morning and flavored the way I felt about the rest of my day!
Every day should start as beautifully as that morning standing on the waterfront in Boston did for me, don't you think?
