This painting was done in pastel and egg tempera on 300# arches watercolor paper. The original images was one of several that I had on display in Chattanooga Tennessee in the mid 90's that were stolen from me. They were never recovered and all that remains to me are some prints I have made and the photographic slide image and digital reproduction. I painted some floral designs at my wife's request and because I did not care to paint still life studio paintings, I painted the flowers in the wild. Often with insects or birds.
