Been Skating At The Roller Rink Davis Islands Coliseum Late 50s Early 60s
Painting - Opaque Water Color
This was an original structure when the islands were created in Tampa in 1926. It burned down in January 1967 having been used for the Big Bands, teen hops, skating rink and sat empty for a couple of years. I used some license in moving the structure one block North so that I could frame it with the arches of another of the first built structures on Davis Islands.
