Description:

Two photos of the one painting are depicted here to show that from differing angles, the image of the child behind the doors is either in view or not in view. This effect was created using a very heavy tacky glaze, applied with the fingers, to create the frosted glass.
The once white (for innocence) door is blistering with corruption, smothering the screaming child within. I was once that child perhaps, and though painting this has been cathartic, I am perhaps screaming still.
This painting made the top fifty in a recent Saatchi Showdown
