Description:

This is being sold as a kallitype at my website. Kallitypes are an alternative printing process much like a vandyke or palladium print. To make a kallitype a paper is first coated with a solution of ferric oxalate and silver nitrate. When dry, the sensitized paper is exposed to a negative under an ultraviolet light source. After exposure, the paper is developed, cleared, toned, fixed, washed and dried. You can go to my website to get more of a feeling of what kallitypes look like. The print you see here is a black and white image. This is what you would get if you ordered a giclee print.
