What lovely softness you have used to paint this beautiful valley where your home was, Sandra. Gorgeous work. L/F
Sandra Phryce-Jones replied:
Hi Mary thank you so much such a lovely a observation :) my valley is second flooding today we had 300mm rain a week ago this one is smaller prob only 150mm great for the trees we have an orchard full of citrus and all the neighbours same we try to jam making juice freeze dry but all Bellingen has so much you can find' free bags' of citrus outside peoples farms an in town houses for folk to have for free great as it is winter here and it helps keep away the colds and flu

Wow Sandra what a wonderful wedding gift. Your choice of colors is awesome and at first glance I assumed it was a watercolor painting. I love those lavender shaded hills,,,,you earn the gold medal for this sweet work of art l.v.f.

Superb watercolor landscape, Sandra! Wonderfully calming colors! L&F
Sandra Phryce-Jones replied:
Thank you Doug..it looks like a water colour but I have watered down Acrylic it is very useful when you want the look of water colour wash but dont want to frame as framing is super but expensive this is a technique I have found to be very useful -thanks again Doug :)

Thank you Oh fair Viva my standard painting of our valley , not meaning a generic.... but a' herald' of how the valley looks to me...... so you are spot on I am interpreting, but not yet done, another for a wedding present which I hope will return me to painting as I sadly need to do so
