Description:

This is a recent Still Life painting. It is a subject of a painting that was destroyed. A black and white photo was discovered along with color fragments. I painted the composition over an old 1970s Still Life which was exhibited at an annual Beloit College Exhibition, hence the title "Beloit Still Life."
