Below Deck - Charles W Morgan Whaling Ship
Photograph - Art Photography
Black and White film photography print from below the deck of the Charles Morgan whaling ship. This 19th century U.S. whaling ship is the worlds oldest surviving merchant vessel. Ships of this kind usually harvested the blubber of whales to be used as lamp oil amongst other things.
Old crates and boxes lay on the floor inside the huge hull of this wooden ship.
