(Continued) I was a star because for show and tell every year I took my grandmoth's collection of various sizes and states of buffalo horns that they just gathered up on the prairie like arrowheads in S. Dakota when she was young -- like 1880s - 90s. Also in the early 1980s I published a poetry magazine called TAURUS. I was always looking for photos, paintings of bulls if not buffalo. (Continued)

I’m glad someone bought that print today, Marion, or I might never have found your marvelous paintings. I love animals; I love buffalo especially, there’s now no longer can really be themselves. I love how you use lots of blues and the heavy texture in the paintings. So much you capture – no – you CREATE a spirit in these works for anyone at all perceptive and sympathetic.
