Congrats on Your Sale!!!

Congratulations on your sale!

Love these deep rich reds and greens. Lovely piece!

Tom, this is a truly beautiful piece of art! I'm sure all those many viewers have enjouyed it very much!

I feel drawn to this piece. The depth, the passion of the coloursand the sense of a story behind the blood.Definitely a favourite!

Something of this website isn't working! My previous comment was supposed to be posted on a blog and found it's way here. (please delete when you can, thanks) I did wish to write something about this piece, tho - it's amazing! and to think it was all computer generated is stunning. Keep up your awesome work. I think that I shall add this to my favorites.

Not sure what the etiquette is, so I hope you don't mind if I respond in one posting. Thanks all for your comments on the texture. This is the hardest thing for me to achieve on the computer screen. The texture was created by mixing a close up photo of tree bark - with its roughness and mix of deep shadow and highlight. It seemed to work pretty well. I truly appreciate all your constructive and encouraging remarks!

In answer to your question on the discussion forum...I definitely feel this is art! I'd love to paint this image. Wonderful layering, colors and depth. Beautiful! Keep up the good work and thank you for sharing with us. :)

I love the color and texture of this photo. I've neen working a few photographs of my own, manipulating them as you've done this one. Mine don't look near as good as yours, though. I need a lot more practice!

Love the textures in this!!!
