Description:

This art quilt was inspired by my small sketch using curved lines. The background is a hand dyed fabric in beautiful colors of pink, grey, green with some yellow and black. The main design sections are joined together with hand dyed bias strips. The entire surface is heavily free-motion machine quilted. \"Blowing in the Wind\" has been juried into fine are exhibitions in galleries and museums. On the back side are two fabric sleeves, one in the top and one in the bottom. Each sleeve holds a flat aluminum rod. The top rod has a hole at each end for easy hanging. These roods guarantee a flat hanging work of art with the hanging devise invisible from the front.
