Blue Fog Beach

Olympic National Park in Washington state is fabulous! From the snow-capped mountains of the Olympic range to the Hoh rain forest, down to the rugged sandy beaches framed by Sitka and Hemlock forest, the Olympic Peninsula is magical! Like many places in the US, if you don't like the weather, wait 20 minutes! I made this beautiful, misty image of driftwood, sea stacks and a tidal pool on the coast somewhere between Mora and Kalaloch, Washington. This panoramic image was made with Fuji Velvia slide film using a Hasselblad X-Pan, a wide format 35mm camera that make images almost 3X wide as they are high. No cropping!
