I have been on the Blue Ridge Parkway many times and wish I had taken some photos. This is awesome. The colors are so beautiful that they are almost mesmerizing to me.

I just added this to my favorites list. I don't why I keep coming back to this image over and over. Is is the contrast between the layers of inky blue and the rosy hues? Is it the way the mountains draw your eye and take you on an endless journey? Is it the mystery of the clouds and mist at sunset? Is it all of the above and more? Yes!

This is one of my favorite photos Dave. From this vantage point on the Blue Ridge Parkway it's like you can see into eternity. The contrasting colors of the mountains, the clouds, and the sky are simply stunning and uniquely Blue Ridge.
