I wanted to tell a story and had to find a way to convey the message that water is the most precious thing for a nomad. A magical bottle was all I could think of! :)

The woman is a costume designer from the U.K. She designed the headpiece using a medallion from a nomadic tribe called the Kuchi's. Because of the dominant blues in the painting I got the idea of calling it Blue Tribe, because for Nomads nothing is more important than finding water in order to sustain family and life stock. The little precious bottle of liquid she is holding signifies the importance of water.
