Description
Bluets (Houstonia caerulea), or Quaker Ladies as they are sometimes called, are small and dainty wildflowers native to eastern United States and Canada. These late spring bloomers are often spotted growing as a clump next to a rock or a fallen log, but sometimes do grow in massive clumps in open, sunny area in the woods and meadows. This delicate little clump was found along a mountain river bank in northern Pennsylvania growing among the river rocks, creating a beautiful natural rock garden.

Love the Bluets and you have found the perfect composition to accent them among these rocks. Beautiful work Carolyn! L/F
