Marlene, I'm bringing this one to the fore yet again, because it's my favourite among all my other favourites of yours. You have a way with portraits, human and animal - they are alive, breathing, and speaking.

Actually, they are switched in the drawing. Bacall is the female smaller dark cat on the left, and Bogey is the lighter cat on the right. But to name the drawing Bacall and Bogey just seemed too awkward and the cats declined to change position! I'm excited that Fred and Ginger are close by in the Cats group, and I did find the Portraits group this morning (that page thing is so small) and am in there. Thanks for all the feedback.

P.S. I think maybe why you didn't find the Portraits group is that, thanks to burgeoning group creation, there are now two pages of groups, and Portraits is 7th from the end, having been set up very early in the game. So check the second page - or the third or later, if even more are added by the time you read this. XXX Eileen

Hey, Marlene! Thanks to the new Cats Group, I've managed to get Fred and Ginger, not next to Bogey and Bacall, but right above. I hope you don't mind. Bogey & Bacall are so elegant. I'm guessing lilac point, or maybe blue point, Siamese for Bacall - if she's the one on the right...

Marlene, these guys are beautiful. Once again, what can I add - except, please please join the Portraits Group and post this drawing there! I'd love to see Bogey and Bacall side by side with my Fred and Ginger (also cats - American Shorthair), not only because they're two beautiful cats, but also because they're also a silver screen famous lovers pair! (Even thought Fred and Ginger the cats are both male, as it happens...)

HI Marlene, Thanks so much for the lovely comments about my birds. I've had a look at your work. It is OUTSTANDING in every way!! I especially like these cats! No only can you render textures, but you understand the ANATOMY of your subject: something that is getting rarer and rarer these days. Well done!

Beautiful. Of course I love cats anyway but these are not 'cute', they are as gorgeous as they know they are. What a gift. Are they Burmese? I used to have 2 and I loved them silly.
