Description:

This painting is of the Bolshoi ballet company's tour back in the late 1960's. The ballet program's cover was used for reference. On a personal note, my mother had painted the same scene in oils back in the 60's. I created my own version in tribute to her in 2008. Degas and Renoir were favorites of hers and inspired my interpretation.
