Bonolota Sen 1
Painting - Inks / Watercol On Canson 300 Gsm Ppr
This is my version of lady "Bonolota" from the famous Bengali poem " Bonolota Sen " of renowned Indian Poet Jibonanondo Das who was an introvert person. As it is very difficult to follow all the lines of a poem - while composing , I have taken the basic idea & tried to express it with my little understanding.
It goes likes this -
" At the end of the day like whispering of dewdrops - evening comes;
the hawk washes off the scent of sun from its wings; when the colours of the earth disappear like a fading manuscript . Then flickering brightly fireflies emerge in the story;
birds make for their homes...all rivers too - settling life's debts ; only darkness remains and I sit face to face with Bonolota Sen. "
