Painting - Acrylic On Canvas
Scattered light from the Boomerang Nebula possibly indicates the formation of new stars. A central star emitting two nearly symmetrical lobes, is caught by the Hubble Space Telescope. The Boomerang Nebulas reflecting cloud of dust and gas has two nearly symmetrical cones of matter that are being ejected from a central star. Bipolar outflows such as this are seen to occur with both very young stars (protostars) and the very old stars nearing the end of their lives that have become bloated red giants.
