Brave And Noble
Susan E Jones
Painting - Oil On Museum Quality Panel
Carnton Plantation was the home to Carrie McGavock during the Civil War. She served as a military hospital during the Battle of Franklin and her floors are forever stained with blood. Carnton's lawn hosts the largest, privately-owned Confederate cemetery and it is where boys from every state in the south (except Virginia) are buried.
