Bridal Veil Falls is one of the most accessible water falls in Yosemite Valley. Although not as tall as Yosemite Falls it has a beauty all it's own.
The name comes from of course the resemblance of a Bridal Veil. This waterfall crest the ridge and drops down and fans out like a veil.
This image was captured in the morning as the sun was above and behind the waterfall giving the crest a nice little sparkle. The water has a nice clean white color that contrast nicely off of the dark granite walls.
I purposely framed this image the way you see it as I was looking more to capture the simplistic design of the dark blue sky throwing a blue cast on the valley wall with the white water dissecting the image.
